dismood

App UI Design / Motion Design / Brand Identity / Accessibility Design

A mental wellness app designed specifically for ADHD users, where the visual system itself does part of the therapeutic work.

This app was designed for users who experience mood swings and emotional irregularity, inspired by symptoms
commonly associated with ADHD.
It focuses on moments when users may feel overwhelmed but struggle to
disconnect from their phones.
The app checks in on the user’s mood through words and movement-based
interaction, then analyses the responses to suggest experiences that either lift their mood, calm them down,
or help them stay balanced.

Visual elements were created through analogue processes, such as hand cut silhouettes and colour grading of images capture inside a foil and broken glass, I wanted to create a sense of ease through human touch and organic shapes.

I  animated an app demo video to showcase the functionality of the app while visually reflecting the brand’s concept and identity.
