A real-time face filter built with code where typography responds to your face
This project aims to teach people a new skill in a simple and easy way. I decided to use the coding phrase “if...else” function through an interactive face filter and physical clay blocks to demonstrate this.
I used playfulness to break down one of the logic in coding helping learners associate
programming with fun instead of intimidation.
The filter changes the word displayed when the user move their mouth, and with
a click of a button they can also
switch to another filter variation.
It was exhibited in class with participants
actively trying out the filter.
